ChaChingify (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website chachingify.com and the ChaChingify platform (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, secure, and disclose information when you use our Service.

By using ChaChingify, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2.Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a ChaChingify account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (e.g., via Google sign-in or email/password).

Platform Credentials

To connect your Printify and Etsy accounts, we collect and store your Printify API token and Etsy OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens. These credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption and are never stored in plain text.

Product and Listing Data

When you sync your accounts, we retrieve product data from Printify (including titles, descriptions, images, variants, and production costs) and listing data from Etsy (including titles, descriptions, prices, and listing status) via their respective APIs.

Transaction and Order Data

If you use profit-tracking features, we may retrieve transaction and order data from Etsy, including sale prices (after discounts and coupons), fees, and order details. We do not access buyer personal information (such as buyer email addresses) unless specifically authorized.

Usage Data

We collect standard usage data such as pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address, and timestamps to improve the Service.

3.How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the ChaChingify Service
  • Sync and display your Printify products and Etsy listings in a unified dashboard
  • Calculate profit margins and provide analytics
  • Auto-match products across platforms
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account
  • Communicate with you about your account or the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for advertising purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or platform data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4.Data Storage and Security

All platform credentials (Printify API tokens and Etsy OAuth tokens) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. We use industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encrypted credential storage
  • HTTPS/TLS for all data transmission
  • Secure OAuth 2.0 PKCE authentication flow for Etsy
  • Per-user data isolation (multi-tenant architecture with user-scoped data)
  • Session management through industry-standard protocols

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

5.Data Retention and Caching

We retain your account and synced product data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. In compliance with Etsy's API Terms of Use:

  • Listing content is refreshed and not displayed if older than 6 hours
  • Other Etsy content is refreshed and not displayed if older than 24 hours
  • Cached data is not retained longer than reasonably necessary to provide the Service

When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and synced data within 30 days, except as required by law.

6.Third-Party Services

ChaChingify integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Printify: We access your Printify data via the Printify API using the API token you provide.
  • Etsy: We access your Etsy data via the Etsy Open API v3 using OAuth 2.0 authentication. Your use of Etsy is also governed by Etsy's own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
  • Authentication Providers: If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (name, email) as authorized by you.
  • Hosting and Infrastructure: We use third-party cloud infrastructure providers to host the Service.

We do not transfer or commercialize your API credentials or Etsy member data to any third party.

7.Your Rights and Controls

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: You can view all synced product and listing data through the ChaChingify dashboard.
  • Disconnect: You can disconnect your Printify or Etsy accounts at any time from the Settings page, which revokes our access to those platforms.
  • Delete: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@chachingify.com.
  • Export: On applicable plans, you can export your data in CSV format.
  • Opt Out: You can stop using the Service at any time.

8.Children's Privacy

ChaChingify is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

9.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
